Last Sunday afternoon, I was walking our goldendoodle, Hazel, and I got to thinking...
"How do I show folks that they can use the StoryCycle Genie™ to create a brand from near nothingness?"
So I thought I'd try it.
AI: Artificial or Artful Intelligence?
I believe that AI is only artificial intelligence (the worst brand name ever) if you're lazy about it.

Step 2: Foundational Brand Story (30 Minutes)
I infused the Brand Story Genie™ with insights from my market category and spent 30 minutes developing the foundational brand story.
It created the brand position statement:
"ComaDose® is the only AI solution to your AI problems—the world's first self-aware, therapeutic AI sleep aid that transforms AI anxiety into AI-assisted rest through professionally curated, intentionally boring AI-generated content."
This position statement came with all the other brand narrative elements: my top three audiences, their emotional triggers, foundational ABT stories, the UVP, brand archetypes, purpose statement—the complete strategic foundation.
Thirty minutes.
Step 3: Audience Stories and Content Playbook (40 Minutes)
The Genie took just 40 minutes to create the individual audience stories and the content playbook, based on the foundational brand narrative strategy.
Three distinct audience narrative strategies. Complete channel guidelines. Strategic content pillars.
Forty minutes.
Step 4: Visual Identity (20 Minutes)
Because the Genie doesn't yet create graphics, I fed the brand story to ChatGPT to design a bottle and logo.
Twenty minutes. (Given that this is a satirical product, you might take a bit more time to dial in yours.)
Step 5: Landing Page Content (25 Minutes)
I collaborated with the Landing Page Genie™ to write the ComaDose® homepage.

Step 6: Social Media Advertising (20 Minutes)
Based on the brand story, I had the Social Media Genie™ create a Facebook ad.
Twenty minutes from strategy to campaign-ready creative.
Step 7: Video Script Development (40 Minutes)
I had more fun last night writing with our Video Script Genie™ to create the 90-second ComaDose® script targeting Insomniac Content Creators.
Forty minutes to a complete commercial script with narrative structure and emotional progression.
Step 8: Audio Production (2 Hours)
I pasted the script into ElevenLabs.ai to find the right voice, and I used their music library. (It took a bit to find the right track—1.5 hours.)
Then I produced the spot at the top of this post in GarageBand. (30 minutes.)
The Artful Intelligence Difference
I maintained creative control.
