Chat History: Continue Your Work

Best Practices
Save Work Regularly
Before using Chat History effectively, make sure to save your work:
- Tell the Genie to "save a record in the system"
- Confirm it's saved before moving on
- This creates accessible reference points
Use Descriptive Updates
When returning to update work, be specific:
Vague: "Change this"
Clear: "Update the emotional promise to emphasize transformation over stability"
Review Before Continuing
When opening a Chat History conversation:
- Scroll through to refresh your memory
- Review what was accomplished
- Identify where you want to go next
- Then continue with specific requests
Leverage Context
The Genie remembers everything from the conversation:
- Previous decisions
- Rejected options
- Reasoning behind choices
- Specific preferences
Use this: "Similar to what we did before but for enterprise audience"
Create Named Checkpoints
As you work, create clear save points:
- "Save this version as the Q4 brand story"
- "Save this as the original landing page version"
- "Save this campaign strategy as the product launch framework"
This makes Chat History easier to navigate.
Advanced Techniques
Branching From Previous Work
