Creating a Team
How to Create a Team
- Click account selector (top left)
- Click "+ Create Team"
- Enter team name
- Click "Create Team"
What Happens:
- New team workspace created
- You become team owner
- Shared credit pool established
- Team appears in account selector
Team Setup
After Creating:
- Add team logo (Settings)
- Invite team members
- Set up billing
- Create shared brand foundation
Managing Team Members
Inviting Team Members
How to Invite:
- Switch to team account
- Go to Members
- Click "Invite Member"
- Enter email address
- Select role
- Click "Send Invitation"
The Invitation Process:
- Team member receives email invitation
- They click link to accept
- They create account (if needed)
- They get access to team workspace
Invitation Status:
- Pending: Invitation sent, not yet accepted
- Accepted: Team member has access
- Expired: Invitation expired (resend if needed)
Team Member Roles
Owner:
- Full access to everything
- Manage billing and credits
- Invite/remove members
- Delete team
- Transfer ownership
Admin:
- Access all content and features
- Invite/remove members (except owner)
- Manage team settings
- Cannot delete team or manage billing
Member:
- Create and edit content
- Access shared brand foundations
- Use all Genies
- Cannot invite others or change settings
View-Only (coming soon):
- View brand stories and content
- Cannot create or edit
- Reference-only access
Removing Team Members
How to Remove:
- Go to Members
- Find team member
- Click "..." menu
- Select "Remove Member"
- Confirm removal
What Happens:
- Member loses access immediately
- Their chat history preserved (team workspace)
- Content they created remains with team
- They keep personal account
Cannot Remove:
- Team owner (must transfer ownership first)
- Yourself (use "Leave Team" instead)
Changing Member Roles
How to Update Role:
- Go to Members
- Find team member
- Click "..." menu
- Select "Change Role"
- Choose new role
- Confirm

Creating Content as a Team:
Option 1: Individual Creation
- Each member creates content independently
- All content saves to shared Assets
- Team maintains consistent brand voice (foundation)
Option 2: Iterative Refinement
- Member A creates initial draft
- Saves to Assets
- Member B opens via Chat History
- Continues iteration
- Maintains full context
Option 3: Parallel Creation
- Different members create different content types
- All reference shared foundation
- Consistency maintained automatically

How It Works:
- All chat history within team account is shared
- Any team member can open and continue conversations
- Full context preserved

Adding Credits
Team owners can:

Transferring Ownership
When to Transfer
Common Scenarios:
- Owner leaving organization
- Role change within company
- Consolidating team management
- Business transition
How to Transfer Ownership
Owner Steps:
- Go to Settings (team account)
- Scroll to "Transfer Ownership"
- Select new owner (must be team member)
- Type team name to confirm
- Click "Transfer Ownership"
What Happens:
- New owner gets full access
- Previous owner becomes Admin
- Billing transfers to new owner
- Cannot be undone
Requirements:
- New owner must be existing team member
- Cannot transfer to pending invitations
- Must have at least one other member
Leaving a Team
How to Leave
Member Steps:
- Switch to team account
- Go to Members
- Find yourself in list
- Click "Leave Team"
- Confirm
What Happens:
- You lose access immediately
- Chat history remains with team
- Content remains with team
- Personal account unaffected
Team Owner Cannot Leave:
- Must transfer ownership first
- Then can leave as regular member
- Or delete team instead
